Special remarks

The zip file contains all files & sub dir need to run the program. So first create on your hardisk a new (sub) directory ( example chk4 V133) where you keep your service software ( example C:\daikinapps). Then open de zip file, extract all files to the new sub-directory (example C:\daikinapps\chk4 V133) . Select the file "Checker4.exe" to run the program. Your recording data is kept in another directory ( C:users\.....\AppData\Local\Checker4\D3Data) so even making a new directory with new version, your recorded data is kept.

Software

  1. Setup_Checker4_VerX.Y.Z.zip= Unzip the installation file for Checker type 4 to a temporary directory. Then run Setup_Checker4.exe to install (No admin righs required to install anymore)
  2. Installation Location: C:\Users\[your computer name]\AppData\Local\Checker4)
  3. TYPE4_driver_for_Win7or8.zip or TYPE4_drive_for_Win10.zip = Unzip the installation file for driver to a temporary directory. Then run CP210xVCPInstaller.... . exe
  4. Check in the printer&device menu what port is assigned by Windows to the checker Type4 device = SILICON LABS VC.

Only then your Checker type 4 will be recognized by our PC and program can run correctly.

  • USB for 5VDC power to checker interface.
  • USB for data transmission.
  • prior to connection first time, install the driver. Also included in the downloads.
