Variable frequency drive to regulate the speed of single-phase motors. It is designed to control fans or pumps in HVAC applications. This frequency inverter can control permanent split capacitor motors or shaded pole induction motors.
The motor speed can be set via the intuitive keypad or via the inputs. Configuration is simplified via 14 basic parameters and application macro functions.
This VFD can control motors with a maximum (combined) current of 4.3 A. The supply voltage is 230 V AC. The integrated EMC filter is Class C1.
The enclosure can be DIN rail mounted in an electrical cabinet. It offers an IP20 protection against ingress of dust.
- The FIS(-C)-11 brings solutions to meet any demand for frequency conversion in a power range between 0.37 kW and 1.1 kW.
Order example
FIS-1320E-0.75
Explication FIS-11 - frequency inverter type 20 - IP protection class E - EMC filter 0.75 - motor power
Notes
INPUTS - PE = earth connections
- L1 L = single phase supply voltage 230 Vac– 50/60 Hz - line
- L2 N = signle phase supply voltage 230 Vac– 50/60 Hz - neutral
- Fuses = *fuses depending on nominal power
OUTPUTS - U = output to motor 230V
- V = output to motor 230V
TERMINAL STRIP 1-11 (based on factory settings) - 1. connect a start/stop switch to terminals 1 and 2 close contact = start contact open = stop
- 2. connect a 10 kOhm potentiometer to terminals 5, 6 and 7 to vary the speed from 35 to 50 Hz (60 Hz for HP drives)
