The BFCA ventilation units are versatile, high-efficiency units designed for various ventilation systems. They are suitable for medium to high air flow volumes and can handle high resistances in HVAC systems. Their compact design and multiple configurations make them ideal for industrial, commercial and residential applications.
Technical description: The BFCA ventilation units are high-efficiency ventilation units equipped with centrifugal fans designed for HVAC systems. Available in AC and EC versions.
Installation: Any installation position and flexible installation due to five possible outlet directions of the outlet fitting. Removable side panels allow inspection access from all sides.
Packaging: Sold individually and delivered in individual cardboard packaging or on a pallet.
Casing: Corrosion resistant aluminum frame with PVC corners PA6; highly shock resistant. panels made of double skin galvanized sheet steel with 25 mm thermal and acoustic non-flammable mineral wool lining.
Intake panel with a circular intake connection for duct connection. Includes a discharge adapter (from square to circular) on the pressure side for low-loss discharge.
Impeller: Direct driven, Backward curved radial impeller centrifugal fan, made from steel and composite, simple aspiration, statically and dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 T.1 – grade 6.3. The assembly rests on a galvanized support plate.
Motor (AC/EC): Through maintenance-free, speed controllable external rotor motor protected to IP 44. Ball bearing mounted, interference-free. Equipped with the overheated protection function, cut off temperature is between 150—160°C and reset temperature is between 90—120 °C.
Electrical connection: Standard terminal box (IP 54) on motor.
Compliance and standards: The BFCA ventilation units are compliant with the following standards and regulations:
- CE Marking
- ErP 2015 (EC MOTOR)
These certifications ensure high energy efficiency and safety in accordance
with European directives.
The BFCA ventilation units are designed for easy operation and control:
EC Motors: The working point can be adjusted using the built-in potentiometer or by an external 0-10V control signal.
AC Motors: Speed can be controlled using a 5-step speed regulator, stepless speed regulator, D/Y switch, or a frequency converter. For optimal performance, refer to the motor specifications and ensure compatibility with the control method.
